Nestled within the Rose Hip Barn, a charming two-story vintage emporium in the village of Thornton, the Greenhalgh Tea Shop welcomes tea lovers and curious visitors alike. As you enter the barn—yes, it really was a barn—you’ll find our tea shop in the center stall to your right.
Browse a thoughtfully curated collection of premium loose-leaf teas, tea infusers, books, fruit curds, scone mixes, Alice’s Cottage spiced mug mats and tea towels, greeting cards, and tea-inspired gifts perfect for yourself or someone special.
We also serve tea to enjoy on-site or take with you. Choose a pot of tea served with a china cup and saucer, then relax in one of the cozy seating areas throughout the shop or on the patio. While we are not a traditional tea room, we invite you to slow down and savor a peaceful tea moment during your visit.
Fresh-baked scones are available to take home or enjoy with your tea. If you know you’ll be stopping by, we are happy to reserve scones for you. They are baked in limited quantities and often sell out quickly.
